But the conceit seems a useful way to introduce the project, especially as I am listed as from an organisation promoting self-publishing, and the instant self-publishing platform one automatically thinks of is this.

On Wednesday 1 May we have BAFTA Masterclass Labs with Mat Whitecross who discusses his diverse directing credits, and how he has managed to move between television, music videos, feature films and documentaries. Whitecross has directed Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll (2010), co-directed The Road to Guantanamo (2006), and his most recent feature film is Spike Island (2012).

This Week at the ICA

Executive Director Gregor Muir on his highlights from this week’s events at the ICA.

Our cinema programme this week includes a presentation on Friday 19 April by Cigarette Burns Cinema and FAB Press – Let’s Scare Jessica to Death, a shining example of the creeping dread which infused the finest cult horror films of the 70s. Other films on offer are The Gatekeepers, a documentary on Israel’s secret service Shin Bet, and F*ck For Forest, a humorous film on the Norwegian environmental group that is devoted to saving the rainforests by somewhat unconventional means.
