Please join us on Tuesday 27 November from 6pm for the opening of Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2012.

Returning to the ICA for the third year running, Bloomberg New Contemporaries features defining works from the most promising artists coming out of UK art schools.

We’ll be featuring the work in the exhibition on this blog regularly, along with short interviews with the artists themselves, so stay tuned next week.

Carnival of Souls, Dir. Herk Harvey 1962.

Art Licks Annual

Art Licks interview with Resonance FM by ICA London

In anticipation of the Art Licks Annual launch party this Saturday in the ICA Bar, Art Licks Magazine’s editor, Holly Willats, interviewed contributing artists Ian Giles, Patrick Coyle and Hannah Perry on Resonance FM.

Celebrating Art Licks’ second birthday, and to launch Issue Nine, all past contributors are taking part in this one-night event. With over 70 young and emerging artists, collectives, curators and writers; a mix of performances, work, readings, interventions, films and artist DJs, will take over the ICA Studio and Cafe Bar. Admission is free, but please book a place to avoid disappointment!

For another taste of these young artists’ work, you can also watch our interview with Patrick Coyle earlier this year on his contribution to our (award-winning) SOUNDWORKS project.
